Rinconcito Copaneco Reviews

Simple!! Fresh food, friendly staff, flavor and prices are the best in the area, ambience always busy because of the quality they serve, you'll be lucky if they pick up your phone call bc they always busy.

The best baleadas I've had! Super clean establishment! The only bad thing is I waited about 50 minutes to get 2 baleadas! And CASH ONLY which is inconvenient but worth the wait though. Next time I'll call my order in.

Rinconcito Copaneco is a small, unassuming Honduran restaurant in the McGinley Square area. This is probably the first Honduran place I've been to, and the food is absolutely delicious. Spanish is mostly spoken here, so for my first time I wasn't sure what to order - we basically just pointed at what looked good and ended up with enchiladas and pupusas. The enchiladas reminded me of Mexican tostadas. They came on a crispy fried tortilla, ground beef, some slaw, sauce, and cheese in an order of three. There is SO much flavor in them. The pupusas were freshly made, so there was a bit of a wait. While we waited, more food came out, and the owner passed us over a pastelito, which was like a fried corn empanada. This was AMAZING! Again, so much flavor. I haven't managed to order these again since I guess they are not available all the time, so GET THESE if you can! Pupusas are also delicious because again, they are fresh. I prefer the plain cheese over the cheese + pork, but they are both good. I think many people get the baleadas, which is like a breakfast tortilla. You can order it with beans, eggs, meat, and probably some other things. I can't recommend this place enough! The owner here is so sweet and proud of this place, and I can see why. Don't be intimidated if you don't speak much Spanish because the trusty point and order method will not lead you astray here. I absolutely will be returning.

Amazing papusas and baleadas. Super affordable too! Two people ate breakfast on $10. The staff is super friendly and the food is authentic

Great food and service. Everything I've tried has been excellent. Solid prices and nice lunch special.

A hidden gem. You have to try the baleada, which is a homemade tortilla, beans, cheese, eggs and meat. And the pupusas!!!

Excellent food! Good service. I'm really satisfied with the food. Highly recommended

What whattt? I love little places like these. I drive by here every day on my way back from work and I just noticed it last week. I'm so glad they had a Yelp page or wouldn't think about visiting here. First off, the lady and man who work here are so friggin nice unlike Coconut Latin Caribbean Grill around the corner. I think they honestly appreciate the business and are very welcoming. They can't speak English well, but it worked out. A little container of food is $4 and a big container is $6. I'm not sure if you can get everything in the container, but that's what we got. They probably couldn't say no to our hungry eyes. With that said, the chicken and the beef were both super tender with great taste. And with a little bit of sweet plantains - worth way more than $6. Too bad for me I got full before my order of enchiladas came out. The enchiladas were the bombbb. They're not like the Mexican enchiladas. The base is deep fried and they build it up like a taco with cabbage, beef, cheese, and all the goodies, but you can't roll it up. Just eat itttt! Ah it's so good, but I was so full already. They also have pineapple soda, which is bangin'. Their banana soda is iffy, but apparently a lot of people love it. They obviously have a following of a normal crowd of people cause they just sit down and they get served their regular food. It'd be awesome if I could speak some Spanish cause I know they have other food that's not out to see. This place needs some recognition and loving. It's not the prettiest place, but it's some damn good food.

I really liked their pork tamale and chicken+cheese pupusa. I didn't tried their entrees but met another customer who recommended them. Reasonable pricing. They speak mostly Spanish so it was a bit difficult for me to order food but luckily another customer was able to help me with my order. Definitely recommend this place if you're craving Honduran food.
